Thomas Logan, Founder of Renewalens

"Headlight restoration should be treated like surface correction, not a quick shine."

Founder Thesis

Build a restoration company around the material, not the shortcut.

Thomas Logan founded Renewalens after seeing the same failure everywhere: polycarbonate lenses degraded by UV exposure, treated with temporary polish, then left to haze again. Renewalens was built to solve that problem with a controlled process: assess the lens, remove damaged material, refine optical clarity, and protect the surface with UV-resistant coating.

01

Surface Correction

Oxidized plastic is removed through staged abrasion instead of hidden under a temporary gloss.

02

Optical Finish

Compound and polish stages refine the lens so clarity is rebuilt before protection is applied.

03

UV Defense

The restored surface is protected against the same UVA and UVB exposure that caused the damage.

Materials Mindset

Every lens tells you where to start.

A lightly hazed lens does not need the same correction path as a deeply oxidized one. Renewalens technicians assess the surface first, then choose the proper starting grit and confirm each step through sanding, compounding, polishing, IPA cleaning, and UV protection.

Our standard

More than a quick polish.

Renewalens is built around repeatable surface correction, not temporary shine. Every job follows a controlled restoration path from assessment to UV protection.

01

Assess the Lens

We inspect oxidation, haze, cracks, moisture, and lens condition before choosing the right starting point for correction.

02

Remove the Damage

Oxidized plastic is removed through controlled sanding stages, then refined with compound and polish for clarity.

03

Protect the Finish

A UV-resistant protection layer helps defend the restored lens from the same solar exposure that caused the original haze.
